Form IV have fun in Greenwich (despite the rain)
A very successful trip despite the weather! We arrived at the Observatory and had the customary photos on the meridian line. There was an added bonus this year as we were able to visit the camera obscura with the view of Queen' s House. We then made our way to the Maritime museum and had lunch on the lawn outside in the sun. The pupils then did their best to become reacquainted with their lunches by having a go on the ocean-going sailing simulator. Luckily, no-one was ill but, by the time we left the museum, the rain had started. We had a very quick trip to the Cutty Sark and then the children went down the foot tunnel under the Thames whilst I finalised our boat excursion. This was very relaxed inside of the boat due to the rain, although we did venture out to have a look at London Bridge and take photos. A shame about the weather but we still managed a happy group photo in front of the London Eye before going home. We had also been complimented on our behaviour at several venues.
Many thanks to Form IV and the accompanying staff.
