Geography

Geography is taught by a specialist subject teacher from Form III onwards. There is plenty of opportunity for 'hands-on' work both within the School grounds and further afield to local areas. Coastal areas also provide a great opportunity to study human and physical geography.

Our department has good cross-curricular links with ICT through our fully-computerised weather station, allowing pupils to monitor and track weather patterns.

As they approach their senior years, children are encouraged to produce investigative reports using a wide range of data methods. In their final year, pupils will produce a project that demonstrates an understanding of one aspect of physical geography.
