Recent U13A rugby results

South Lee U13A 20/11/13 Home 45-0

This was a great victory against South Lee. Our boys played with confidence from the outset. There were some impressive runs by the big centres and our wingers saw action with the ball being spread out wide. When South Lee came at us our defence was sturdy. A very positive game. Well done to the boys.

OBH 7s Tournament. U13 Runners up in the Plate competition. 24/11/13

A very tough day was had here as Rugby Sevens is not our normal game. This said, the team did very well and did not give up despite some heavy defeats against OBH and St Johns in the initial group stages. We then went on to play Ipswich YM and beat them 15-5 in a very good game. This brought us to the plate final where we had to play St Johns again and were beaten 15-0. 

Brandeston U13A 27/11/13 Away 17-12 Loss

A disappointing result as this is a game we could have won. We played a predictable game and so were unable to better Brandeston. We did suffer some unfortunate early injuries  but these are excuses for a game that was closely fought.

Felsted U13A 30/11/13 Home 50-3

A really difficult game against a much bigger side. Our boys were daunted by the size of some of their players and we failed to tackle and ruck with our usual aggression. As a result, they could neither win or retain possession and Felsted were able to spend the match running at us with the ball in hand from all parts of the pitch.
