U11A Rugby

The U11A team have had a fantastic season. They have played with real determination, enthusiasm and skill but, above all, they have played as a team. We had a tough start with illness and injury which, for the first month, claimed 4 and for a while 5 of our front line players which resulted in us losing 3 games. After that, the team never looked back, winning the remainder of their fixtures; a run of 20 games unbeaten in all competitions amongst the schools we play on our circuit. Along the way, the boys have won the Holmwood house and Orwell Park tournaments, winners of the OBH 7's Plate Competition and Plate finalists at the Brentwood tournament - losing to a golden try in extra time. It's too difficult to pick out any one player as all the boys have played outstandingly this term.
