Religious Studies

The School is Christian based but welcomes pupils of all faiths, or none. It is our aim to encourage tolerance and understanding so that our pupils grow in sympathy with the multi-cultural society within which they live and work. Lessons and School assemblies are structured to work towards this goal and explore the social, moral and ethical issues which are lessons for life.

During their years at Barnardiston, pupils will have the opportunity to study and explore all the major world religions. This will include an in-depth project which is presented as part of their final examination in Form VI.
