The Pre-Prep Department

The Pre-Prep Department provides an exciting environment in which children
aged 2-7 years can thrive. The classrooms are bright with plenty of room for work and play. All children in the Pre-Prep Department follow the full range of National Curriculum subjects suitable for their age. There is a busy programme of sport and children swim weekly at the local pool.

Throughout the Pre-Prep Department, teachers keep in close contact with parents and are available each morning and evening should you wish to 'pop-in' to discuss anything.

During the course of each term, everyone attends an 'Out and About'. In the past, pupils have visited amongst other, London, the Zoo, Legoland and the coast. During the Summer Term, the Out and About is followed by the chance to 'camp' overnight at the School! This is a highlight of the Summer Term and all children leave the next day following a cooked breakfast with a certificate to confirm that they have stayed overnight at School.

Barnardiston Hall has been accredited by the Government to offer parents the EYDP Grant (non means-tested) when they reach the appropriate age and the Bursar's Office will be pleased to supply you with full details of this.
