Form III do battle at Bosworth
Form III visited Bosworth battlefield in Leicestershire to further aid their understanding of this key event that started off the Tudor period. As always, the Visitor Centre looked after us well and the tour of the building allowed the pupils to enhance their knowledge as well as try on some 'cool' items of armour. The Captain, Bosworth's resident reenactor, was once again the highlight of the trip with his gruesome stories of medieval warfare and weapons as well as the drill session. We braved the wet weather to walk the battlefield with Bill, our tour guide and it was fascinating to imagine whose footsteps we were treading in on that fateful field. As always, the pupils had a great day.
