Derbyshire Dales 2013
In September, Forms I and II pupils took part in a weekend trip to Derbyshire Dales. The weekend started at Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood, to see their annual medieval to modern era re-enactment. An evening climb to the top of Mam Tor (1696ft above sea level) was followed the next morning by a visit to Speedwell Cavern, one of four showcaves in the area. This cave is unique in Britain due to the natural chambers being reached by underground boat. The children arrived back at School on Sunday tired but happy!
