Classes 1& 2 Out and About to the Dinosaur Park and Sleepover
On Friday 17th May, Classes 1 and 2 set off on their long awaited trip to the Dinosaur Park. Everything was well-organized. The only thing we had no control over was the weather so we kept our fingers crossed and hoped for the best. After a long journey and only one shout of "are we nearly there yet?", we arrived at the Dinosaur Park, opened the bus door and the children ran off to the amazing play park to 'let off steam'. Then we heard the call that lunch was ready, just in time as we heard lots of little voices say, "we're hungry!" So we made our way to the restaurant where we all enjoyed a delicious hot meal and all the members of the public complimented us on our excellent behaviour. Giving our lunch time to settle, we took a steady stroll to the dinosaur trail, then we excitedly set off on our hunt for dinosaurs. We saw a T. Rex, Diplodocus and all the dinosaurs we had seen in books. However, our favourite was the one eyed dinosaur called 'Doyouthinkhesaurus!'
By now, we had reached the racing cars where we all completed a few laps. Some of us needed some help from our teachers who were only too willing to have a go! Then it started to drizzle so we went and had fun in the indoor play area, especially the the amazing slides. We had a drink and calmed down before our journey back to School. On arriving back, we had a quick play before having our delicious supper. It was soon time to clean our teeth and put on our pyjamas before a good night story and then, snuggled down into our sleeping bags, we were soon fast asleep. After a peaceful night, we enjoyed a continental breakfast before being picked up by our mummies and daddies. Another successful Out and About and sleepover for 3, 4 and 5 year olds.
